At some point in our lives, we all get anxious, but some of us get anxious more often than others. So much so that it interferes with our daily lives. Anxiety is defined as an emotion characterized by having worried thoughts, feelings of tension, as well as and physical changes like increased heart rate, sweaty palms, and shortness of breath.

There are different types of anxiety disorders, such as social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, separation anxiety disorder, and specific phobias.
